Taylon Skylights’ Dual-Glazed UL Vented Smoke Skylight 10-PSF is engineered to provide superior fire safety and natural daylighting for commercial and industrial buildings. Certified to UL 793 standards, this automatic smoke vent releases smoke, heat, and toxic gases during a fire, enhancing occupant safety and supporting firefighting operations. Equipped with a UL-listed fusible link and exterior manual release options, it ensures reliable activation and full compliance with the International Fire Code (IFC) and NFPA 204.

The dual-glazed polycarbonate dome delivers enhanced thermal performance and durability while maintaining excellent light quality. Its dual-layer design improves insulation and reduces heat transfer while still providing up to 80% visible light transmission with minimal haze and 100% diffusion for bright, evenly distributed natural light.

The integrated MaxAir vented base provides 11 square feet of natural ventilation and includes a built-in rain shield to prevent wind-driven moisture intrusion. Standard features such as bird screens, insect screens, and dust filters help maintain clean airflow and a dry interior environment. The passive ventilation system assists in exhausting heat and stale air, supporting ASHRAE 62.1-2022 indoor air quality standards.
