Taylon Skylights’ Dual-Glazed Industrial Venting Skylight is designed to deliver high-performance daylighting, improved thermal efficiency, and effective natural ventilation. Certified under ICC-ES Evaluation Report ESR-5273, it meets stringent building code requirements for reliability in demanding industrial applications. The dual-glazed polycarbonate dome system enhances insulation while maximizing light transmission, and the diamond series geometry improves both structural strength and daylight distribution.

The MaxAir vented base provides approximately 11 square feet of free ventilation area, allowing heat, humidity, and stale air to naturally exhaust from the building. An integrated rain shield prevents wind-driven rain intrusion, maintaining a dry interior without the need for external rain defenders. Standard features—including bird screens, insect screens, and dust filters—ensure clean, unobstructed airflow.

Engineered with impact-resistant polycarbonate by Palram, the skylight offers exceptional durability and has been third-party tested to withstand loads up to 800 pounds. The dual-glazed configuration reduces heat gain and loss while delivering strong visible light transmission with minimal haze and full diffusion for even, glare-free daylighting.

In alignment with ASHRAE Standard 62.1-2022, this system supports improved indoor air quality by facilitating natural ventilation. Optional building ventilation studies are available to help tailor performance to specific project requirements, enhancing both energy efficiency and occupant comfort.
