Constructed from durable galvanized steel or aluminum and equipped with gas spring actuators, the skylight safely opens against a 30 PSF snow or wind load, suitable for Class 90 roof systems. Its impact-tested polycarbonate dome withstands up to 1,000 lbs while delivering high-quality natural light with 80% visible light transmission, minimal haze, and 100% diffusion. The patented Diamond Series dome design ensures structural integrity, allows maximum daylighting, and reduces reliance on artificial lighting, improving energy efficiency and occupant comfort.
