Fall Protection Bar
Product
Taylon Skylights Fall Protection is a permanent safety solution for rooftop work on commercial and industrial buildings. Designed to be an integral part of skylight installations, these systems safeguard maintenance personnel and reduce the risk of accidental falls. Fully OSHA-compliant and third-party tested to withstand up to 800 lbs, they provide reliable, code-approved protection that meets federal safety regulations.
Available in durable aluminum (21 lbs) or steel (77 lbs), Taylon’s fall protection is built for long-term use. Aluminum offers a lightweight yet strong solution, while steel provides added durability for high-traffic areas. Both feature continuously welded ½-inch nominal crossbars spaced 5 inches on center, ensuring a secure barrier around skylights while maintaining structural integrity and even load distribution.
The permanent design reduces owner liability and eliminates the need for temporary or makeshift barriers, which can fail or be removed inadvertently. By integrating directly with the skylight structure, the system provides continuous protection while allowing safe rooftop access for maintenance. Its robust, tested construction makes it a dependable, OSHA-compliant solution for worker safety.
In addition to safety and compliance, Taylon Skylights Fall Protection is extremely cost-effective. The durable aluminum and steel options minimize maintenance and replacement costs over time, delivering long-term value for building owners. With reliable performance, reduced liability, and low lifecycle costs, this system offers a smart, economical way to enhance rooftop safety while meeting all applicable safety codes.
